Video camera Review of Kodak Play Sports - ideal for kayaking

Review of EIS Kodak Play Sports video camera

I bought the Kodak's Play Sports few weeks for me to start taking videos of my river and Lake Michigan kayaking adventure. Most of my shots are in shallow water than fast action shots of white water, so I have not rated fast action shots. EIS Electronic Image Stabilization is to reduce Kodak says the video can blur.

I bought this particular model because of very low pricesof $ 149.00, and the fact that it is waterproof to a depth of 10 feet for my use in boating needs. The camera is as great if an iPhone.

I used the camera now 2 trips per day for children and I say, must be brief, I am very impressed with the '. The quality of the video as seen on the big push or chamber, or better yet, my computer fixed. I also saw the video and uploaded to YouTube and my website. The quality is still excellentseen from these two sources online, but they tend to just a little 'nervous for connecting to the Internet. Recorded video can be viewed directly from your camera to your HDTV, but I have not finished yet, but I am curious to try it.

In addition to superb quality video and the microphone to the device very sensitive and I am still impressed with the quality of sound. I found that the influence of wind on the sound, if you need outside on a windy day. The microphone worksthey do not see a profit, even if this improves the sound played on a windy day. The camera itself has a setting for brightness, but have not found a need to mess with this setting. I am confident that it will be awesome.

Both the bottom of the video store and charging the device is very simple via the USB port. The controls are minimal and easy to find. There are only 5 buttons with good graphics for control, but offer all the necessary functions. L 'Center Push / Tilt button requires a majority of operational tasks. The guide is 19 pages showing how to operate the camera easily. I already said it also takes good pictures yet?

I bought a 16 GB memory card, and it takes up to a 32GB memory card. It 'not enough memory is used, then you need to buy extra memory card. I found the 16GB card is most suitable for the insertion of a days worth of video (the cameraand off depending on the action).

I felt life, complaints from other people, the camcorder has its battery short. I have no problems with battery life so far and found, found no need to buy a second battery back-up. I have the camera throughout the day as much as I would have died without the battery going.

The other feature that I have not tried shooting into the water to see if the application is valid for use under water. There is a setting for underwater use thatmust be set prior to use under water.

So far I found no errors, the expectations with the camera and the quality of audio and video goes far beyond mine. It's worth the money even if a camera is not considered necessary as I did.
